On November 14th, 2009, we presented at WordCamp NYC. Our topic focused on our case study with WNET.org and how our toolkit came into fruition. Many of our session’s attendees were interested in having access to our presentation slides, which we have made available below for download and viewing.

10.15.2009 WordCamp NYC 2009 presentationTierra is supporting the upcoming WordCamp NYC by sponsoring the event. Tierra’s President, Jamie Trowbridge, and WNET.org Executive Director, Dan Goldman will be speaking on a joint panel to discuss the WNET.org WordPress project. WordCamp NYC takes place at Baruch College on November 14-15, 2009.
09.14.2009 WTTW (Chicago) uses Toolkit for Retirement Revolution websiteWTTW 11, Chicago’s PBS affiliate, recently used Tierra’s WP CMS Toolkit to power it Retirement Revolution show website. This show, aired on other PBS stations and produced by WTTW made use of our beta Collections plugin to organize content on the site.
07.16.2009 WNET.org WordPress Project Case Study releasedTierra and WNET.org jointly released a case study about this project. The document covers how the project was conceived and executed and gives specific examples of plugins that were developed, design challenges and other issues. The case study was also re-published and promoted on Automattic’s WordPress Publisher’s blog.
Just a note to let you know we reworked the template you provided pretty quickly in order to launch a “preview” version of our new site (kxt.org) yesterday, two weeks prior to our station’s Nov. 9 launch… I’ve been happy with the smoothness of WPMU and the template thus far, and we’ve gotten a very positive public response from yesterday’s launch.
