that would be great if you had an rss to this site. google reader was able to create one; however, i want this to be on my igoogle page…

just watched the video on “WordPress as a CMS Case Study: WNET.org” — it’s exactly the kind of project i’ve been hoping to tackle. essentially, to use wordpress to build small business and non-profit websites. and to focus, in particular, on the Hispanic market.

@Chaten – What you can do is resize the billboard manager to the width / height of the images and then using css, center the player in the content area. That would accomplish what you’d need it to do.

@Mikey – In your shortcode, you’ve specified this? [ti_billboard name="Billboard Demo" repeat="0"]? That should stop the cycle at the end of the list. If it isn’t, let us know and we’ll bug fix it.

Hello,

I was wondering whether you could help me with your plugin Billboard Manager.

I have it up and running but am having 2 problems:

1.) Image size: The player is be bigger then the image, i was hoping to have it flush so teh image takes up the width of the player

2.) Image quality: Possibly to do with the above but the image quality declines. Heres teh url.

I love Tierra Billboard Manager, but I’m having trouble with looping. I’ve tried adjusting the Billboard settings and setting repeat within the shortcode and I just can’t seem to get the content to play just once.

Also, is there a feature to display an image or modify the text before the user presses play?

@Paula Eisenberg – Our plan is to have an ajax search box above the list of files so you can easily filter. We’ll also be adding sorting to the fields so you can sort by file type, name, etc. Stay tuned.

Thanks so much for releasing Billboard Manager. I saw your presentation at WordCamp NYC and was salivating for it!

Question: We have tons of files in our media library now, so finding the right ones to insert into a playlist can be daunting. We could start naming the files with “a” to keep them near the top, but is there a better way? Say, be able to tell Billboard Manager to look at a special media folder? Or have it grab images associated with certain posts?

Also: after I edit an image file that has been placed in the playlist, and update it, BBManager defaults back to the first playlist, not the one I was just working on. This is annoying; not a biggie, but annoying. I am using Safari on a Macbook Pro, Snow Leopard.

@alex ginzburg – try placing the following into your site’s .htaccess file:

php_value upload_max_filesize 100M
php_value post_max_size 105M
php_value max_execution_time 300

Also, are you on shared hosting or a dedicated server?
